India won world T20 cricket championship

Hi Criket lovers,
A storming T20 World Cup had a suitably storming finish as India grabbed a last-gasp win over Pakistan in Jo'burg. With Pakistan needing six off the last four balls and the last pair at the wicket, top scorer Misbah-ul-Haq looked to flip Joginder Sharma over the wicket-keepr for six - only to be caught by Sree Sreesanth halfway to the rope.India had won a famous victory after a rollercoaster day.Having won the toss and decided to bat, MS Dhoni's side were restricted to just 157/5 off their 20, with opener Gautam Gambhir's 75 off 54 the only significant score. They had gone into the game without injured whacker Viru Sehwag, who was surprisingly replaced by the debutant Yusuf Pathan, and not Dinesh Karthik.Pathan hit a quick 15 but India's innings never accelarated as expected. In the unfamiliar setting of Jo'burg Yuvraj Singh - who had been unstoppable in Durban - struggled to get the ball off the square, falling, caught and bowled to the excellent Umar Gul, having hit 14 off 19.When Gul (3/28) bowled Dhoni soon after, Pakistan seemed to have put the squeeze on for good. But No 6 Rohit Sharma's 30 off 14 helped India to a repectable total.Pakistan raced from the traps with Imran Nazir, star of the win over New Zealand, again to the fore. When he was run out after hitting 33 off 14, the innings stalled. Skipper Shoaib Malik and maverick whacker Shahid Afridi were out in the same over to man of the match Irfan Pathan (3/16) - leaving Pakistan 78/6 and in the cart. For six overs, there were no boundaries. But, with Pakistan needing a seemingly impossible 54 off 24, Misbah - in the squad in place of Mo Yousuf - hit three sixes off the 17th over, bowled by Harbhajan Singh. Needing 13 off the final over, Pakistan were gifted a wide by Joginder Sharma before another massive six from Misbah apparently opened the door for a Pakistan win - only for Misbah to miscalculate with his ill-judged scoop to Angry Youth Sreesanth. The BCCI responded to India's victory by giving the players a bonus of $2million.India's victory could change the very future of cricket - while T20 has been slow to catch on in India and, indeed, has been actively opposed by the BCCI, the World Cup win could change everything. It was India's win in the then-60-over World Cup in 1983 that fired the modern fervour for ODI cricket in India and, hence, around the world. Hope u'll express your valuable opinion about this game and also what do you think about the future of Twenty Twenty cricket?

Although India has won T2o cricket tournament. But that was a fluke chance and they can't repeat the same performance again.
